The Garden Party Fashion Show
The Delta Winnipeg Ballroom hosted the Habitat Women Build's 'Garden Party Fashion Show' on Sunday May 15, 2011 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The first-time event saw over 180 people in attendance from girls to grandmothers as they all enjoyed an afternoon of tasteful fashions and a delicious light lunch! The event was emceed by the entertaining Chrissy Troy and included some fabulous auction prizes. Attendees learned more about affordable home ownership and what it has meant to Frances, a Habitat Homeowner, and her family.
The event raised over $9,000 with all proceeds going to the Habitat for Humanity Women Build. Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg with help from our sponsors, supporters, and volunteers, builds safe, decent and affordable homes for purchase by low-income working families.
